Getting Started
Intuition is building a powerful and versatile ecosystem of apps and developer tooling on top of the world’s first open and semantic knowledge graph. This new data layer makes it easy for anyone to capture and curate verifiable social wisdom free from the limitations of application specific silos. This documentation is your comprehensive guide to making the most of our early solution stack and includes all the resources you need to join like-minded pioneers in advancing the vision of the Semantic Web.
By refining, expressing, and managing identity and data Intuition aims to give entities better ‘intuition’ in all their interactions, ultimately enhancing the trustworthiness of the entire digital ecosystem.
Differentiating Features
Intuition is a peer-to-peer knowledge sharing ecosystem with features to support utility in Web3 and beyond. Core features of the platform include:
- Global Decentralized Identifiers: Introducing unique, persistent, canonical identifiers for all things - not just people.
- Traversable Attestations: Many-to-one attestations that are uniquely structured to make verifiable data eminently more discoverable and usable.
- Data Neutrality Framework: Open, transparent standards fostering an ecosystem where data and services can interact without barriers or bias, promoting innovation, competition, fairness, and truth.
- Universal Knowledge Graph: An open, permissionless data lake accessible by all, disrupting the status-quo of application-specific silos.
- Information Markets: Rewards for creating and curating useful information interacted with by others, facilitating engagement and enhancing quality.
Why Build with Intuition?
With Intuition, developers can create applications that empower users with full control over their identities and data, enhancing privacy and security. Intuition’s composable and semantic data structure allows for seamless integration and interoperability across diverse systems, enabling developers to build scalable, sophisticated applications that interact smoothly within the decentralized ecosystem. It also allows developers to be programmatically rewarded for data contributed to the Intuition data commons, immediately unlocking new revenue streams, even before the data of an application hits a critical mass.
Building with Intuition positions developers at the cutting edge of creating a more secure, user-centric digital future, providing access to a network of verifiable data enabling the creation of reputation and trust across the digital realm.
- Verifiable claims and attestations created, updated, and revoked through user-friendly developer tooling
- Attestation aggregation infrastructure that enables complex reputation use cases
- Advanced query functionality that enables search through a unified, decentralized registry of identity data
The platform supports permissionless innovation, giving developers the freedom to explore and implement new approaches to data management and presentation without the constraints of centralized control. With Intuition’s open and interoperable design, developers can contribute to and benefit from a collaborative ecosystem where their innovations are valued and rewarded.
Who Should Use This Documentation
- New Users: If you're new to Intuition, this guide will help you get started using The Portal and teach you how to effectively interact with the knowledge graph.
- Developers: We will begin onboarding developers in the near term and a full suite of developer docs will roll out over by the end of the year. Until then, this documentation can help build early familiarity with the platform. We are here to help you think through creative implementations and exciting new use cases.
- Partners: We are actively pursuing a wide range of ecosystem partners to address urgent use cases. Our approach is currently focused most heavily on L1/L2 blockchains, smart contract auditors, block explorers, and wallet providers, but we welcome all partner interest. If you think there is a way we could work together, reach out to us on Discord so we can explore opportunities !
